It’s imperative that you onboard a new staff member correctly. Take the time to go over the culture of your organisation and to outline the company’s vision and goals. Have written down clarification of job responsibilities, so that it is clear to your new employee what is expected of them. Show your new team member around and introduce them to the people they are working with so that they feel welcome. Make sure that they are clear on any special policies and procedures that are required for their safety and that of customers.
