Limit email use when it comes to your offshore team, especially long, complicated ones. I recommend a group Skype chat between you and your offshore team. Be sure to talk via voice frequently, or use video when you can or risk things getting lost in translation. Oh and remember to check in with your offshore team on a regular basis, the same as you would with the people sitting next to you.
